Today’s post is for all my gals that love a good reason to dress up! While our Valentine’s Day will be low key (Chris is preparing to go to trial that week), I thought I’d create a Valentines Day outfit inspired by this darling sequin miniskirt I picked up a few weeks ago! And what better way to celebrate the love inspired holiday than mixing red and pink together? On their own, pink is girly, while red tends to be more seductive. But when the two are paired together, they are lighthearted and fun! Just like black and brown, or navy and black, may have once been major no-no’s in the fashion industry, the combination suddenly feels fresh and festive for this Valentines Day outfit!
If you’re in need of some help in the planning department, check out last Friday’s post. I shared some last minute ideas that are both fun and inexpensive! From a first date, to ready for a ring, there’s a variety of options available no matter where you might fall on the dating spectrum. Be sure to fill me in if you end up utilizing the date ideas – I’d love to hear your feedback!
