Kicking off my #NYFW recap with my first outfit today, which includes this Mark Jacobs leopard sweater and flouncy skirt! Staying warm while navigating through the streets of NY was quite a bit of a challenge with temps in the single digits and wind gusts in the 20’s! Even with tights on underneath my trusty OTK boots couldn’t keep my legs warm. Love the look and want it for less? Grab this leopard sweater and this skirt for half the price, and pair it with the same OTK boots as above. They are a great alternative for the $700+ pairs and less than $200!
I began my first day of fashion week with the Nicholas K runway show, you can find some of his popular designs at Free People! It was my first time seeing his show and I loved the color pallet he choose and mix of textures in each design. Here’s a quick glace of my favorite looks:
Next on the agenda was Mathieu Mirano at the Chelsea Piers; stunning gowns with gorgeous sequins and embellishments! The models were standing on a sand pit and greeted by live turtles at their feet. Freaking amazing!
After a quick lunch break, we headed back to it! Unfortunately I navigated us to the wrong venue and we ended up missing Marissa Webb, nonetheless we were able to pop into Desigual which was scheduled at the same time.
Before we knew it, the day was over as quickly as it started. After walking a few miles in OTK boots, I was happy to head back, throw some sneakers on and relax! Be sure to come back the remainder of the week to see more of my trip and fashion week looks! Have a great day loves.
