Maxi skirts, as well all know, are one of the most comfortable (and forgiving) items to wear, especially during vacation. Surprisingly enough, they tend to be one of those versitile pieces of clothing you often forget about hanging in the back of your closet. By adding a few simple layers as the temperatures cool down, you’re transitioning to fall without much thought and getting a lot more use out of your skirts. When it comes to styling a maxi skirt during the summer, I opt for one of two ways; a crop top or easy tank. This pretty paisley maxi skirt was one of the first items I packed for Charleston, and I knew it would fit right in with the casual vibe of the city. My girlfriend Nicholah loved the outfit so much she wore it the following night to dinner!
On Friday night we headed out to dinner at Cannon Green, the sister restaurant to Zero George Cafe + Bar, and a must-have stop during your next trip to the Holy City! Delicious food, impeccable wine selection and the amazing ambiance made for the perfect space to catch up with friends. The patio is the perfect spot for pre dinner drinks, but can easily transform into a wedding venue, and spacious enough for both a ceremony and reception. When dinning, be sure to ask for Allie, here’s a list of her current favorites that were reccomended during our dinner:
try first: Shrimp Aguachile, Raviolo, Yellowfin Tuna Tartare
second: Cioppino, Creekstone Beef Striploin
drinks: Rocky Mountain High and a great selection of red wine
