Happy Tuesday friends! I hope you had a great holiday weekend and enjoyed time with loved ones. Chris and I constantly find ourselves being pulled in opposite directions these days. After a long week of him in Beaumont for an upcoming trial, we cancelled our trip to Nola to celebrate the fourth and opted to stay in Houston. Most of our weekends are filled with catching up on errands, chores around the house, and sleep! So it was nice to have no plans for the entire weekend, to do whatever we please. He’s begged and pleaded to get me to watch GOT for the longest time. So I finally gave in, third times a charm, right? Maybe this time is different, because the storyline actually makes sense! On Saturday we had a fun day date, which included lunch at the new Hopdoddy’s in River Oaks (by far our favorite place in Austin!) and appliance shopping at Lowe’s. (Stay tuned, more information to come come on that!) While it may not sound like the most action packed and exciting weekend to most, it was just what we needed. Productive, yet simple. I seem to be turning into a home body these days, and I’m not complaining!
I adore the fit and design of this Sea Star Maxi Dress for a early evening walk on the beach or upcoming wedding! The handmade silk blows perfectly in the wind, while being light weight enough for the warm summer days. The belt is also adjustable for your choosing, as well as it’s placement! Ps, say hello to my new favorite crossbody! This piece seriously goes with everything!
