Happy friday friends! Today Chris and I are kicking off the weekend with a hot yoga class at 6am! Yes, you read that right, 6am! I haven’t taken a single yoga class in over a year, so diving right in and mentally preparing myself for hot vinyasa flow sounds normal. So, I thought I’d share with you all what I’d typically wear.
When it comes to hot yoga, I still focus on finding items that are both practical and breathable. Capri style leggings allow you the flexibility of lifting your legs in the air, while avoiding a random flash to the person behind you. Plus your muscles won’t go into shock when they are exposed to air conditioning as you step out of the studio. Personally, I like a full coverage sports bra for hot yoga so I don’t feel over exposed if I can’t stand the heat and need to remove my tank. Not like I really need an excuse to show off the back of this Anthro tank, right?! Most importantly, don’t forget to look for those items that are made specifically of a dry-fit material any time you can anticipate working up a sweat! You’ll thank me later when you pass the smell test when stopping at your favorite coffee shop on the way home.
Now, enough procrastinating. Time to leave for the gym. Wish us luck!
